SSR is proudly supporting Dharawal cultural bushwalks within the Sutherland Shire. During these walks, participants will be able to engage with First Nations' knowledge, including the relationship between the land, plants, and animals and the area's cultural significance.

About the event

Cultural Bushwalk - starting at Jibbon Beach at 9.30 am, duration approximately 2 hours


Spaces limited to 15 participants - RSVP to reserve your space.


SSR is proudly supporting cultural bushwalks on Dharawal Country throughout the Sutherland Shire, covering locations including National Parks, Council Reserves, Crown Land, ANSTO, and Local Aboriginal Land Councils.


During the walks, participants will be able to engage with First Nations' knowledge, including the relationship between the land, plants, animals, and the area's cultural significance. Graham Avery will guide participants through this experience, sharing insights into natural areas knowledge and the deep connection First Nations peoples have to the environment.


These bushwalks are a meaningful form of reconciliation in action, providing a unique opportunity for participants to learn about First Nations people’s connections to Country.
